This St Giles Heathrow was adequate for its purpose although not being able to check in until 3pm meant we probably should have flown thru. We arrived at 10am after a 24 hour flight. The hotel had no facilities for lunch and I can't comment on dinner because by this stage i was so tired all i wanted to do was go to bed. Purple light was not an issue, because we were so tired I could have slept standing in the sunshine. I did see the trains but certainly couldn't hear them even when awake. The hotel was clean and the St Giles hotel concierge deserves a big mention. We had to contact someone in London and had left the phone number at home. he went above and beyond the call of duty trying to help us find it.
