There is no grander hotel than Claridge's. With its acres of black-and-white marble floors and its staff in footmen's uniforms, it breathes privilege and superiority. It is no myth that the hotel is a favourite haunt of royalty. Some may find Claridge's a trifle stuffy, but the service is friendly and there is no attempt to intimidate guests. |
